Bir Billing (The Global Favorite)

This is the world's second-highest paragliding site and the most famous spot in India. It hosts the Paragliding World Cup.

• Location: Kangra District (near Baijnath).

• The Experience: You take off from Billing (2,400m) and land in Bir (a Tibetan colony). The flight time is usually 15–30 minutes, but thermal cross-country flights can last hours.

• Best For: Adventure seekers wanting the complete experience, camping, and Tibetan culture.

• Best Time: October to mid-June (October–November is peak season).
